Enter the TraffickCam App. When the app is downloaded, it allows users to take simple pictures of the hotel rooms they stay in when traveling, and seamlessly allows them to be uploaded to the app’s database. The image will include a GPS tag of the location and stores it with the images. When traffickers upload pictures of their captives in hotel rooms, the images are analyzed against the photos uploaded by TraffickCam app users. When there is a match, law enforcement can move in on the exact location.
